The National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) is the Federal government agency charged with the responsiblity of regulating all programmes in the polytechics, monotechnics and similar institutions. The National Innovation Diploma (NID) and the National Vocational Certificate are approved academic program of the Nigerian Federal Ministry of Education through the National Board for Technical education (NBTE). On completion, students are awarded the NID or NVC which are equivalent to National Diploma certificates awarded by polytechnics and monotechnics within Nigeria. Computer Training Outreach (CTO) Programmes
The CTO programme is approved by theTransformation Education Network (Discipling to the 3rd Generation). The network for short is called TEN3. The CTO programmes covers all the essential components of computing (Computer Essentials, Wordprocessing, Spreadheets, graphics, Web Development and more), combinig these with strong Biblical principles. Linux OS is used through out the training.
As a people oriented college, we are mindful of the fact that there are many busy people who might not be able to create the time for regular training in computing. As a result, these programmes are designed to be flexible and run as 1-2 week workshops and/or seminar. Candidates may select one or more from this list and may add more from outside the list.
