The book of Romans 14:16 says “Do not allow what you consider good to be spoken of as evil”
EICT computer education is Christ centered. One of EICT’s core values is that the Bible is the foundation of all learning activities while prayer is the source of strength. EICT goal is to transform lives educationally and spiritually in order that the use of IT would be godly and God centered.
When Jesus Christ was about to ascend to heaven in Matthew 28:18-19 he gave the great commission to his disciples “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the father and of the son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey all that I have commanded you. And surely I will be with you always, to the very end of the age”. In John 20:21 Jesus Christ said “ As the father have sent me I also send”
Some of the mediums EICT is using for this transformation are the discipleship class, Life Principles course, prayer meetings and some Christian activities for the spiritual growth of both staff and students as obedience to the word of God stated above.
When Jesus Christ gave this command to all his followers to go and make more followers of him and bring them into the family of believers. There are many people who have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savour and they attend Church regularly, but they do not know the word of God and how to apply it in their lives so that they become mature Christians.
God has commanded EICT to make disciples who are spiritually mature and can bring others to Christ. And to God be the glory many students have given their lives to Jesus Christ. Testimonies abound of students whose lives have been transformed. Many have been delivered from drug addiction and other vices, and many have rededicated their lives to Christ. Testimonies from a Muslim students, “This school has helped me to see Christianity differently, not how they have taught us. I have leant that Christians are kind, loving and welcoming. I appreciate them a lot more”
As long as you are Christian, God has called you too, to go and pour the life Jesus Christ into some ones, life in deeds and in word.
